Drop seals Stribo Series
Drop seals Stribo are used to seal doors. They prevent drafts, smoke penetration, odor, improve thermal insulation, and also provide excellent sound insulation. The system is an aluminum profile with a movable seal and a trigger located on the hinge side. When the door is closed, the button is pressed, and the sealing element bridges the gap between the door and the floor. When the door is opened, the button is released, the sealing element rises and does not interfere with the opening of the door. The patented directional pushbutton system provides a quiet, smooth progressive movement of the seal (from the hinge side to the handle side). The lack of friction makes the system much more durable than overhead sealing brushes.

Drop seals for interior doors and exterior doors are built-in seals. Before installation, a special groove is cut in the door leaf. The sill body is attached to this groove with screws. After that, a sealing mechanism is installed in the body. This system is patented. We have 4 standard sill lengths in our range, but they can be easily cut to the desired length. They can be completed with both a rubber seal (1) and a brush (2).
If it is not possible to make a groove in the finished door, our assortment includes overhead automatic thresholds. The main advantages of Stribo automatic door seals are:
- Protect the room from drafts, smoke and odor penetration, insects;
- Sound insulation up to 51 dB;
- Thermal insulation and energy saving. Keeps the temperature in the room. Does not release heat in winter, cool in summer;
- Better sealing properties than other door seals;
- Durability. Our automatic thresholds are certified and rated for over 200,000 cycles;
- Can be used on inclined or uneven floors due to the translational movement of the spring, as well as the use of sealing brushes;
- Aesthetics. They are completely hidden in the door leaf and do not worsen the appearance of the product, while the floor sills are worn out and trampled;
- There is no need for traditional thresholds, the automatic threshold does not create obstacles when driving;
- Versatility. Suitable for all types of doors: single-leaf, double-leaf, sliding, wooden, plastic, aluminum, glass. There is also a special seal for fire doors. Trimmed to the desired length if necessary.
